FAQs
Q: How much music should I have in my wedding ceremony?
A: The minimum amount of music included in most wedding ceremonies consists of 3 songs:
-
One song for the processional while the groom, parents, grandparents, and wedding party walk in
-
One song while the bride walks in
-
One song for the recessional as the newlyweds and the wedding party walk back down the aisle
Other opportunities for music in your wedding ceremony include a song while signing the marriage license, lighting a unity candle, etc. Some couples also choose to have a hymn if the ceremony has a religious element.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Our rate depends on various factors including how much we play, how far we travel, and if we need to purchase additional music. Contact us today to receive a quote!
Q: My wedding is outside - can I still have a live quartet?
A: Yes you can have a live quartet at your outdoor wedding with a couple caveats:
-
We cannot play music outside if there is even a DROP of rain. Our instruments are wooden and will dissolve at the seams if they get wet
-
We cannot play music outside if the temperature is below 60 degrees Farenheit. Because our instruments are wooden, they could crack at lower temperatures
-
We do not play with amplification, so it may be difficult to hear us if your wedding is in a particularly windy location
Q: You mention that the quartet can play background music, is that something I need to pick out?
A: Nope! Let us know what sort of vibe you want your wedding to have and we'll take care of the music
